Care of Your Mattress

Proper care of your mattress will help provide a longer life for you mattress. Follow these guidelines to ensure many years of sleeping enjoyment:

Give your mattress the proper support. If you have purchased a queen or king size mattress, your frame must have a center support with legs (see illustration). Remember, the warranty will be void if a center support with legs is not used on the queen or king set.

Use the handles for positioning the mattres. They are not designed for carrying the mattress.

Use a mattress pad. This will keep the mattress fresh and clean

Turn your mattress. Turning your mattress will lengthen the life of the mattress and minimize body impressions. Turn your new mattress every two weeks for the first few months, then turn once every two or three months, or as needed.

Turn and Flip Your Mattress

All About Mattress Body Impressions:

Body impressions are normal in quality bedding. The materials used in this mattress are resilient and are designed to conform to your body's unique contours. It is important to remember that the depth of body impressions will vary with different styles of bedding. For example, a body impression of 1 to 11/2 inches is common for a mattress with less upholstery. However, for a mattress with more upholstery, such as an ultra premium model, a body impression of up to 3 inches is normal. Body impressions are not a structural defect.

Body impressions in the mattress may appear as sagging, but there is a notable difference:
